Ivermectin: 10 mg

Solvents ad: 1 ml

Description:

Ivermectin belongs to the group of avermectins and acts against roundworms and parasites.

Indication:

Treatment of gastrointestinal roundworms, lice, lungworm infections, oestriasis and scabies in calves, cattle, goats, sheep and swine.

Pharmacological Action:

Ivermectin paralyzed and ultimately kill parasitic nematodes, arachnids and insects by a unique effect on the nervous systems of these parasites. At therapeutic doses, Ivermectin is well tolerated by livestock since it does not readily penetrate the central nervous system.

Dosage and Administration:

For subcutaneous administration

Calves, cattle, goats and sheep: 1 ml per 50 kg of body weight.

Swine: 1 ml per 33 kg of body weight

Contraindications:

Administration to lactating animals

Side Effects:

When Ivermectin comes in contact with soil, it readily and tightly binds to the soil and becomes inactive over time.

Free Ivermectin may adversely affect fish and some water born organisms on which they feed.

Withdrawal Period:

-For meat

Calves, cattle, goats and sheep: 28 days

Swine: 21 days

Warning:

Do not permit water runoff from feedlots to enter lakes, streams or ponds.

Do not contaminate water by direct application or the improper disposal of drug container. Dispose containers in an approved landfill or by incineration.
